Martifer Solar continues its expansion into Eastern Europe, consolidating its leadership position in the field of European photovoltaic solar energy. Martifer Solar SK, which new offices are placed in the capital, Bratislava, initiated its activity in the country last July and is working hard to consolidate its position in the Slovak market.
Most of its activities are focused on EPC contracts for PV projects and on the development and construction of PV plants both on ground and rooftops. At the end of 2009, Martifer Solar SK, was selected as a partner of Municipalia, a company which provides advisory & consulting services for Municipalities in Slovakia and also organizes specialized conferences, seminars and training for local government institutions.
The two companies are exploring opportunities to promote the installation of PV plants, including roof-top installations on public buildings, helping Municipalities increase their revenues and improving their energetic efficiency. Martifer Solar SK will end 2010 with almost 5 MW of projects in operation in Slovakia.
Francisco Queirós, Country Manager for Slovakia has remarked that “the Slovak market has begun the implementation of PV solar energy and Martifer Solar´s experience has been an excellent presentation card. In the following years the Slovak market is going to have a significant growth.
