The aim of Energy Systems is to become one of the main companies supplying renewable energy systems. To this end, the company pursues a policy of constant investment in technology and research. Its activity is focussed on photovoltaic solar energy and wind power, and its latest and most novel business line is tidal energy or wave power, presently in the development phase.
Wind Power
Martifer is one of the main companies capable of undertaking integral turnkey wind-power projects. It has entered this market based on the creation of an industrial cluster with which it pursues bottom-up integration, and is thereby independent of outside suppliers. With an investment of Euro 66 million and more than 1300 workers, it designs and builds towers, blades and gearboxes and assembles wind turbine generators in order to develop, erect and maintain wind farms.
Tidal Energy - FLOW
The quest for new sources of renewable energy is one of our main tasks. The FLOW project is a good example of this. It concerns a design prototype and technology wholly developed by Martifer for making use of the energy produced by the waves.
